This first picture is to prove a point, don’t base everything on the number on the scale. Now there isn’t any gigantic difference between these two pictures, but there is some. However the scale says I weigh the same in both pictures. I’ve had a few other people agree there is a difference. I’ve been plateaued on the scale for a few months. I’ve been stuck in a crazy cycle for the last few months of losing and gaining the same six lbs. I exercise 5 days a week, some days 1.5-2 hours a day, and follow my diet best I can. I’ve also started working with a personal trainer three times a week. I started with her at the beginning of July, also when the plateau happened. I also had a sleep medication that causes weight issues increased at the same time. Last week it got changed to something that wouldn’t effect my weight and I’ve lost three pounds so I am hoping that the plateau is over now! Stay tuned for that. I look at the small differences in these pictures and realize that I am still moving along in my journey. So don’t get discouraged by the number on your scale. Just because it might be stuck doesn’t mean you’re failing or not working hard enough. Our bodies are strange things! People get too easily caught up about the number and lose sight of another changes that are happening despite the number being stuck.
This next picture is my updated side by side!
I had a crazy week filled with winning things, I won three giveaways this week just by chance! I won a vitamin/protein shake basket from LapBandedLiving. I also won full size CLICK Espresso Protein Drink from CLICK and Noosa Yoghurt from the Nosh And Nourish blog earlier this week! I start my new job Tuesday and spent this week doing lots of walking. Walking has become my new favorite thing. So much that I am going to launching a walking program that I invite everyone to participate in. It will be for the whole year of 2014, I am not announcing any official details until December 1st, but if you look at the top of the blog you’ll get a hint. If any companies out there are interested in donating prizes please contact me at email@example.com for more information on the program. So excited about it!!!!
